I applied for an open position and got an interview. During the interview, my interviewer was very friendly; we even talked about the weather and the negative effects of coffee. I received a rejection, which is not the problem because they can't hire everyone. The problem was that, even though the "cool" interview was in German, I got a rejection in an automated email in English. I usually ask the interviewer for the reasons for the rejection as it might help me later, and I often get a response. Unfortunately, even though the interviewer was "friendly," I never got an explanation for my rejection. Apparently, the "friendly" and "open" demeanor was only for the interview
